Sierra BlitzKing .257 90-Grain Rifle Bullets

Sierra BlitzKing .257 90-Grain Boat-Tail Bullets

Sierra's BlitzKing line represents a purposeful evolution in varmint hunting ammunition. These .257 90-grain boat-tail projectiles combine the explosive expansion characteristics demanded by varmint hunters with the precision accuracy Sierra is known for.

Design and Construction

Proprietary Tip Technology: The BlitzKing's distinctive polymer tip is engineered to initiate rapid, consistent expansion upon impact. This design ensures reliable performance across a wide range of impact velocities.

Thin Jacket Construction: The carefully engineered jacket thickness balances two critical requirements—explosive expansion for varmint work and the accuracy standards associated with Sierra's MatchKing line.

Boat-Tail Profile: The boat-tail design reduces drag and extends effective range, making these bullets ideal for longer-distance varmint work.

Ballistic Performance

These bullets perform optimally across a broad velocity envelope:

• .388 BC at 3100 fps and above
• .375 BC between 2900–3100 fps
• .345 BC between 2400–2900 fps
• .330 BC at 2400 fps and below
