The Sig Sauer P220: A Proven Classic
The P220 stands as one of the most respected full-size pistols in the shooting world. This California-compliant model delivers the proven reliability and ergonomics that have made the P220 a favorite among serious shooters for decades.
Design and Construction
The P220 combines a stainless steel slide finished in durable Nitron coating with a lightweight alloy frame in black hardcoat anodize. The result is a pistol that resists corrosion while remaining manageable in weight. An integrated accessory rail allows you to mount lights or lasers for tactical applications.
Safety and Control
Sig Sauer's four-point safety system provides multiple layers of protection:
- Decocking lever for safe hammer lowering
- Automatic firing pin safety block prevents unintended discharge
- Safety intercept notch on the trigger bar
- Trigger bar disconnector ensures the gun won't fire if dropped
The single-action trigger breaks cleanly, and the one-piece Ergo grip provides confident control in any shooting position.
Sights and Capacity
Night sights come standard, allowing you to aim in low-light conditions. The 4.4-inch barrel delivers excellent accuracy, while the 8-round magazine capacity suits the .45 ACP cartridge. Two magazines are included.
A Timeless Choice
Whether you're a competitive shooter, defensive-minded individual, or collector of quality firearms, the P220 remains a masterclass in pistol design.
