Important Considerations
This tool is not suitable for use on progressive reloading presses. It requires a single-stage press for proper operation.
Why Primer Pocket Swaging Matters
When military or boxer-primed ammunition is fired, the primer anvil creates a crimp around the primer pocket. This crimp must be removed before seating new primers, or you risk damaging primers or creating inconsistent seating.
