Haydel's Government Hunter Cottontail Call
The Government Hunter is a time-tested predator call designed to bring coyotes, foxes, and other predators within range. This open-reed call produces authentic cottontail rabbit and jackrabbit sounds that trigger predatory instincts.
Versatile Sound Production
The dual-end design gives you multiple calling options from a single call:
- Gravelly distress calls: Blow into the primary end to produce deep, realistic cottontail distress sounds
- Squeaker tones: Blow on the opposite end for close-range squeaker sounds that work when predators are already responding
- Death cries: Hyper-ventilate by alternately blowing and sucking air from either end to create urgent, lifelike death cries
Construction
Crafted from clear acrylic, this call is durable and weather-resistant. The transparent design allows you to see internal reed movement and helps with proper technique development.
Ideal For
Whether you're a seasoned predator hunter or new to the sport, the Government Hunter delivers the sounds that work. It's effective for coyote, fox, bobcat, and other predator hunting across varied terrain and seasons.
