Proven Big Game Performance
Hornady InterLock bullets represent a time-tested solution for hunters who demand reliable, consistent performance on game. The 170-grain flat point configuration in .308 caliber provides the ballistic characteristics needed for effective hunting at practical ranges.
InterLock Ring Technology
The signature InterLock ring—a raised ring embedded within the bullet's core—locks the jacket and core together during expansion. This mechanical bond ensures:
- Consistent weight retention through the expansion process
- Controlled expansion at all practical velocities
- Massive wound channels that result in clean, ethical kills
Construction Details
- One-piece core and jacket design eliminates separation during impact
- Tapered jacket thickness precisely controlled for reliable expansion
- Cannelure provides secure crimping and works in concert with the InterLock ring to maintain core-jacket integrity
Why Hunters Choose InterLock
