Hornady InterLock 7.62x39mm 123-Grain Soft Point

Hornady InterLock Soft Point Bullets

The Hornady InterLock line represents decades of ballistic innovation and field-proven performance. These 123-grain soft point bullets in 7.62x39mm (.310") diameter are engineered for hunters and shooters who demand reliable, consistent results.

Key Features

• InterLock Ring System: A raised ring inside the jacket is embedded in the bullet's core, keeping the jacket and core locked together during expansion. This design ensures superior weight retention and prevents jacket/core separation.
• Soft Point Design: Exposed lead tip provides controlled expansion and hard-hitting terminal performance on game.
• Ballistic Efficiency: Features Hornady's secant ogive profile, one of the most aerodynamically efficient designs available.
• One-Piece Construction: Solid core and jacket design maximizes durability and consistency.
• Excellent Weight Retention: Maintains mass through expansion for deeper penetration and larger wound channels.

Performance

These bullets are ideal for hunting medium to large game with rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm. The controlled expansion creates a more massive wound channel while maintaining the structural integrity needed for clean, ethical kills. The ballistic coefficient of .252 provides good downrange velocity retention.
