Haydel's DC14 Diver Duck Call
Purpose-built diver duck call that produces the distinctive "brrrrr" communication sound of redheads, bluebills, scaup, and canvasbacks. Features removable exhaust plug for volume control.
The Diver Duck Hunter's Essential Tool
The Haydel's DC14 Diver Duck Call is engineered specifically for hunters pursuing diving duck species. Unlike general-purpose mallard calls, this call reproduces the authentic "brrrrr" vocalizations that redheads, bluebills, scaup, canvasbacks, and other divers use to communicate with one another.
Key Features
- Single-reed design for responsive, accurate duck communication
- Black acrylic construction for durability and reliable performance
- Removable exhaust plug allows you to adjust volume to match hunting conditions
- Purpose-built for divers — not a compromise between mallard and diver calls
Why This Call Works
Diving ducks have distinctly different vocalizations than dabbling ducks like mallards. This call cuts through the noise of open water and reaches birds at distance. The removable plug gives you flexibility: keep it in for maximum projection across large water bodies, or remove it for closer-range calling in confined areas.
Whether you're hunting deep lakes, reservoirs, or coastal waters, the DC14 delivers the authentic diver duck sounds that bring birds into range.
