Ruger M77 Hawkeye Predator 6.5 Creedmoor
Ruger's M77 Hawkeye Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor delivers precision varmint and predator hunting performance. Features a 24-inch matte stainless barrel, adjustable two-stage trigger, green mountain laminate stock, and integral scope mounts.
The Ruger M77 Hawkeye Predator: Built for Precision and Purpose
The Ruger M77 Hawkeye Predator represents the pinnacle of varmint and predator rifle design. This is a rifle engineered for shooters who demand accuracy, reliability, and field-proven performance.
Barrel and Action
The 24-inch medium contour barrel is cold hammer-forged from stainless steel, delivering the precision rifling that defines Ruger's Hawkeye line. The 1:8-inch right-hand twist stabilizes 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition across a wide range of bullet weights. The matte stainless finish resists corrosion in harsh field conditions while maintaining a professional appearance.
The action features Ruger's proven Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor—the most positive case extraction system ever developed. A fixed blade ejector positively ejects empty cases as the bolt cycles fully rearward. The one-piece stainless steel bolt is built to last.
Trigger and Safety
The two-stage adjustable target trigger offers a short take-up stage followed by a crisp, light pull with no creep or overtravel. This is a trigger designed for precision shooting. The three-position safety is easily accessible and allows you to lock the bolt or load and unload with the safety engaged.
Stock and Ergonomics
The green mountain laminate stock combines durability with attractive aesthetics. Rounded contours along the barrel and wrap-around checkering on the grip and forend provide secure handling. The recoil pad is effective and comfortable. The stock includes three half-inch spacers for adjusting length of pull from 12.75 to 14.25 inches, accommodating different shooters and shooting positions.
Sighting and Mounting
Integral scope mounts are machined directly into the solid-steel receiver, providing a stable mounting surface that eliminates a potential source of looseness in the field. Scope rings are included. Sling swivel studs are factory-installed.
