The Browning Citori White Lightning: A Refined Shotgun for Discerning Shooters
The Citori White Lightning represents Browning's commitment to delivering a refined, reliable over-under shotgun that performs equally well in the field or at the clay range. This 12-gauge model carries the legacy of one of the most respected shotgun designs in American sporting tradition.
Design & Construction
The receiver features Browning's durable silver nitride finish—a modern alternative to traditional deep bluing that provides excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining the aesthetic appeal serious shooters expect. The gloss oil-finished black walnut stock and forearm provide both beauty and functional grip security.
Mechanical Features
The Citori White Lightning employs several proven design elements:
- Single selective trigger with barrel selector, allowing you to choose which barrel fires first
- Automatic ejectors that cleanly remove spent shells
- Full-width tapered locking bolt for strength and reliability
- Inertia trigger mechanism for consistent performance
- Invector Plus choke tube system with three tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder) and wrench included
Sighting & Handling
The shotgun features an ivory front bead sight with mid-bead for quick target acquisition. The well-rounded pistol grip and forearm provide natural pointing characteristics. At 26 inches, the barrels offer a responsive handling package suitable for upland hunting, clay shooting, and sport use.
