SureFire EDCL1-T Everyday Carry Flashlight

SureFire EDCL1-T: Everyday Carry Excellence

Drawing on four decades of tactical lighting expertise, SureFire engineered the EDCL1-T as a dual-output performer designed for serious daily carry. This is a light built for those who understand that reliable illumination can be the difference between awareness and vulnerability.

Performance and Output

Powered by a single 123A battery, the EDCL1-T delivers:

• 500 lumens on high output for immediate threat assessment and illumination
• 5 lumens on low output for sustained operation and situational awareness

The dual-output design gives you flexibility—maximum light when you need it, efficient operation when you don't.

Optical Design

The Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens is the heart of this light's versatility. It produces a beam with genuine throw for distance visibility while simultaneously projecting a wide peripheral beam. This combination keeps you aware of your immediate surroundings while maintaining sight picture downrange—an essential feature often overlooked in compact everyday carry lights.

Build Quality

Constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum, the EDCL1-T is engineered for durability that matches its performance. The body is designed to withstand the rigors of daily carry and tactical use. The LED emitter is virtually indestructible and regulated to maximize both output and runtime.

Operation

• Full press of the tailcap switch: High output (500 lumens)
• Slight press of the tailcap switch: Low output (5 lumens)
• Twist the tailcap: Constant-on mode

Versatility

While designed as an everyday carry light, the EDCL1-T serves equally well as an improvised weapon light or tactical illumination tool. Its compact size and reliable performance make it suitable for both civilian and professional applications.

This is a light for those who take their gear seriously.
