Design and Purpose
The Ultralight 34mm SPR Scope Mount represents a thoughtful approach to AR-platform optics mounting. By pushing the rear ring forward 2 inches, Aero Precision has optimized eye relief—a critical factor for comfortable shooting and faster target acquisition. This forward positioning reduces the likelihood of scope bite while maintaining a natural shooting position.
Key Features
- Ultralight Construction: One of the lightest mounts available, eliminating unnecessary bulk without sacrificing strength
- 34mm Tube Compatibility: Accommodates modern mid-range and premium optics with standard 34mm tubes
- Cross-Slot Keyway: Provides exceptional recoil protection and secure mounting
- Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny Rail Compatibility: Designed specifically for standard AR-type upper receivers
- Anodized Black Finish: Durable, corrosion-resistant coating
Practical Application
This mount excels on modern AR-15 and AR-10 platforms where weight savings matter without compromise. Whether you're building a precision rifle, a competition gun, or a general-purpose carbine, the Ultralight mount delivers the performance you need with the minimal weight you want. The forward ring position is particularly valuable for shooters using higher magnification optics, where proper eye relief becomes essential for both comfort and safety.
