Wilson Combat's Bullet Proof Extractors are machined from solid bar stock S7 tool steel, a material renowned for its shock resistance, excellent toughness, and high strength (275,000 PSI tensile strength). After machining, each extractor undergoes specialized heat treatment and cryogenic processing to develop long-lasting tension and toughness that resists chipping and breakage.

Optimized Design for Series 80 Pistols

This extractor features an optimized hook design with location tolerances held to +/- .001" for maximum strength and consistent case rim contact. The radiused corners extend service life and promote smooth feeding. The design holds tension longer than factory parts and includes a plunger retainer stud machined into the body to secure the firing pin safety plunger on Colt-style Series 80 slides.

Practical Installation

Minimal fitting is required for proper function. Many guns will accept this extractor with only final tensioning needed. The extractor is fully compatible with Series 70 1911 pistols as well.
