XS Sights DXW Big Dot Night Sights for Smith & Wesson M&P

XS Sights DXW Big Dot Night Sights

These defensive tritium sights are engineered specifically for everyday carry pistols that demand fast, reliable target acquisition in any lighting condition.

Design Philosophy

XS Sights built the DXW system on principles proven over 25 years of defensive shooting. The design draws from African big game hunting sights—a proven concept for rapid, combat-accurate sight pictures when seconds matter. The philosophy is straightforward: make your sights big, bright, and easy to see.

Key Features

• Front Sight: Bright tritium dot (0.188" width) with reflective white outline that captures ambient light for enhanced visibility
• Rear Sight: White stripe (non-tritium) with shallow V-notch profile for a wide field of view
• Sight Picture: Dot-the-"i" configuration prevents confusion between front and rear sights during high-stress situations
• Low Profile Design: Shallow V rear sight maintains a clean sight line without obstruction
• Overall Height: 0.300" for proper co-witness with most optics

Performance in Real Conditions

These sights excel in the situations where defensive pistols are actually used. Whether your vision is aging, deteriorating, or simply challenged by low light, the large tritium dot and white outline deliver a visible flash sight picture day or night. The design accounts for the reality of defensive encounters: both shooter and threat are moving, and attention is threat-focused, not sight-focused.

Compatibility

Precision-engineered for Smith & Wesson M&P and M&P Compact models.
