Ultra-lightweight Daniel Defense M4 carbine weighing just 5.9 lbs. Features 14.5" cold hammer forged barrel, free-floating MFR handguard with M-LOK, and pinned flash suppressor for legal barrel length.
The Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 SLW represents the pinnacle of modern carbine design—a rifle engineered for shooters who understand that every ounce matters. At just 5.9 pounds, this is one of the lightest rifles in the DDM4 lineup, delivering the speed and handling characteristics serious operators demand.
The heart of this carbine is a 14.5" cold hammer forged barrel with a 1:7" twist rate, built from chrome moly vanadium steel and chrome lined for durability. The barrel features a lightweight profile that reduces overall weight without sacrificing strength. A pinned and welded Daniel Defense flash suppressor extends the barrel to the federally required 16" minimum length, eliminating the need for additional muzzle devices.
The mid-length direct impingement gas system uses a pinned low-profile gas block machined from hardened 4140 steel, ensuring reliable operation across a wide range of ammunition.
The free-floating 13.5" MFR handguard is a masterpiece of engineering—CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with Type III hard coat anodize. M-LOK attachment points run along seven positions, providing exceptional modularity for mounting lights, lasers, and other accessories. An uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny rail on top accommodates optics and iron sights.
Both upper and lower receivers are mil-spec CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. The lower features an enhanced flared magazine well and rear QD swivel attachment point. The upper includes proper M4 feed ramps and indexing marks.
The GRIP-N-RIP charging handle and Daniel Defense buttstock with soft touch overmolding provide comfort and control. A 6-position receiver extension allows shooters to dial in the perfect length of pull.
Includes Daniel Defense full-latch impact plastic case. Sights sold separately.
