Action & Barrel

MPA/Curtis Short Action with a robust 60-degree bolt throw and three-lug design ensures smooth, reliable operation. The tool-less firing pin assembly removal system simplifies maintenance in the field.

The barrel is where precision begins. Masterpiece Arms uses X-Caliber hand-lapped 416R stainless steel blanks, stress-relieved and inspected on video borescope. The M24 contour profile provides excellent rigidity while maintaining reasonable weight. Each chamber is indicated within .0001" or less to the bore—the kind of precision that separates good rifles from great ones. The polished barrel finish not only looks professional but also aids in cleaning and maintenance.

Chassis & Stock

The MPA BA Hybrid Chassis is machined from 6061 aluminum and features a sophisticated V-bedding system with additional clearance for glass bedding the action and barrel. This design isolates the action from chassis flex, a critical factor in precision shooting.

The adjustable cheek riser and length-of-pull adjustment accommodate shooters of different builds and shooting positions. A lower-mounted Picatinny rail and 20 MOA scope rail provide flexible optics mounting options. The built-in inclinometer helps you maintain proper rifle cant—essential for long-range accuracy. The thumb notch and A2-style pistol grip offer positive control.

Trigger & Magazine

Trigger Tech Special trigger, factory-set to 1-3 pounds, delivers the clean break precision shooters demand. The AICS-type magazine system accepts standard 10-round Magpul magazines, ensuring reliability and compatibility with common ammunition.
