The High Speed Gear TACO: Tactical Magazine Retention Done Right

The High Speed Gear TACO (Tactical Ammunition Carrier Offering) represents a thoughtful approach to magazine storage on your tactical platform. This single-magazine pouch combines proven materials and smart engineering to deliver reliable performance in the field.

Construction and Materials

The TACO employs a hybrid design that leverages the strengths of multiple materials:

• Injection-molded polymer sides provide structural integrity and durability
• 1000D Cordura front and back offers abrasion resistance and longevity
• Shock cord lacing system maintains positive, adjustable grip on your magazine without excessive bulk
• MOLLE-compatible attachment integrates seamlessly with standard tactical gear

Magazine Compatibility

This pouch accommodates a wide range of rifle magazines with impressive versatility:

• USGI and modern tactical magazines (5.56mm)
• PMAG and similar polymer designs
• HK-pattern magazines
• ARC magazines
• FAL magazines
• AK 30-round and 40-round magazines
• .308 Winchester magazines
• M14 magazines
• LR20 magazines

Practical Features

The TACO maintains a compact 3-inch horizontal footprint, minimizing platform real estate while delivering secure retention. Magazine deployment is smooth and silent—critical when stealth matters. The pouch works equally well for certain accessories like radios, flash bangs, and smoke grenades, making it a genuine multi-purpose tool.

Additional retention options are available through sewn webbing tabs for bungee retainers or interior loop Velcro for adhesive-backed hook material, allowing you to customize retention to your specific needs.

Finish

Coyote Brown finish provides excellent camouflage across varied terrain while maintaining professional appearance.
