Action Target Dynamic Course of Fire 1 Paper Target

Dynamic Handgun Training Target

The Action Target Dynamic Course of Fire 1 is a comprehensive training tool designed to develop well-rounded handgun skills through structured, progressive shooting drills.

Target Layout and Design

This 23" x 35" paper target features multiple colored zones—blue, green, and orange—that guide shooters through a complete training sequence. The multi-color design helps shooters quickly identify target transitions during dynamic drills.

Training Progression

The course of fire develops essential skills in logical sequence:

• Two-Hand Shooting: Begin in low ready position and engage the top blue target with three rounds using both hands
• Strong-Hand Only: Move to the green target and fire two rounds with your dominant hand
• Reload Drill: Transition to the orange target, fire one round with both hands, perform a tactical reload, then fire two additional rounds
• Continued Transitions: Move left to the blue target for three rounds with both hands, then to the green target for two rounds with weak hand only
• Final Engagement: Conclude with three rounds at the blue target using both hands

Practical Benefits

This target develops the fundamental skills every serious handgun shooter needs: accuracy under movement, strong and weak-hand proficiency, and smooth reload execution. The structured drill format makes it ideal for both individual practice and formal training courses.
