Four Carry Positions

Vertical Cant — The most common outside-the-waistband carry style, particularly favored for full-size duty firearms. The hip position aligns naturally with arm and shoulder mechanics, making the draw instinctive. While this position produces the most visible imprint, it remains easily concealed beneath a jacket or sweatshirt.

Horizontal Cant — Positions the firearm in the small of the back, offering comfortable concealment for compact pistols and revolvers during walking or standing. The frame sits horizontally with the grip angled upward toward your back.

Cross-Draw Cant — Worn on the non-dominant side, this classic position originated with ranchers seeking to keep their weapons clear of daily work. Modern carriers choose cross-draw for rapid access from seated positions in vehicles or at desks, or as an excellent secondary firearm location.

Inside-the-Waistband (IWB) — The most concealed carry method for experienced shooters. Worn on the dominant side inside your trousers, the 4-Way produces minimal imprint with only the metal belt clip visible.
