Why the SMR?

The Single Mission Rifle strips away the interchangeable barrel system of the standard MRAD, resulting in a rifle that is nearly 2.5 lbs lighter and 1 inch shorter. This makes the SMR ideal for shooters who have committed to a single caliber and want a purpose-built tool that excels at its mission. The fixed stock with adjustable cheek piece and length-of-pull spacers ensures a proper fit for different shooters without sacrificing rigidity or accuracy.

Whether you're competing on the range or pursuing demanding field work, the MRAD SMR combines Barrett's engineering excellence with practical simplicity.
