Tactical Backup Sights for Modern Rifle Platforms
The Aim Sports MT45FS represents a practical solution for shooters who want reliable backup iron sights without sacrificing rail space for optics. These 45-degree angled sights mount to standard Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rails and remain out of the way until you need them.
Key Features
- 45-degree offset angle keeps sights clear of primary optics
- Low-profile design minimizes snag hazards and maintains sight picture
- Positive locking detents with ball bearing pivots hold sights firmly in place
- Black anodized aluminum construction for durability and corrosion resistance
- Standard A2 front post (0.02" width) for familiar aiming reference
- Dual-aperture rear sight with small (0.070") and large (0.200") apertures for varied lighting conditions
Practical Performance
These sights excel as backup iron sights on modern AR-15 platforms. The offset angle allows you to co-witness or backup electronic optics without interference. The dual-aperture rear sight adapts to different shooting scenarios—use the smaller aperture for precision work and the larger for rapid target acquisition in low light.
Compatibility
Designed for any AR-15 with standard Picatinny rail systems. Installation requires no gunsmithing.
