The ROMEO2 represents SIG Sauer's commitment to delivering optics engineered for real-world performance. This compact 1x30mm red dot sight is purpose-built for shooters who demand reliability in adverse conditions.

Optical Performance

The 3 MOA red dot reticle provides an ideal balance of precision and speed. The high-efficiency point source LED emitter paired with a molded aspheric glass lens ensures exceptional brightness and light transmittance with zero distortion. SIG's high-performance red notch reflector coating maximizes brightness while maintaining optical clarity.

Durability and Protection

Constructed from 7075 aluminum with ruggedized steel shrouds, the ROMEO2 withstands extreme impacts and drops. The IPX-7 waterproof rating ensures functionality in wet conditions. Two steel shrouds are included, allowing you to configure the sight fully enclosed, sealed with a polycarbonate rear window, or in other tactical arrangements.

Smart Power Management

With 25,000 hours of battery life, the ROMEO2 minimizes maintenance concerns. The MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination System) automatically powers the optic on when it senses motion and powers down during inactivity. The MAGNETAC feature automatically deactivates the sight when holstered in a compatible holster and reactivates instantly upon draw.

Night Vision Compatibility

The D.A.R.C. (Dark Adaptive Reticles & Coatings) technology provides ideal reticle brightness and target clarity when used with Gen3+ night vision devices.

Direct Mount Compatibility

The ROMEO2 shares the ROMEO1PRO footprint and mounts directly to any SIG pistol with the PRO-CUT slide. The spring-loaded side battery tray releases via push button without tools.
