Design Philosophy
The GI model eschews modern tactical rails in favor of authentic military configuration. The removal of the precision-welded top rail allows shooters to use original claw mounts and carry handles—the sighting systems that have served marksmen for decades.
Condition
This rifle is in safe working condition with an NRA quality rating of "good." Minor wear appears on working surfaces, consistent with honest use. The furniture may display dings or blemishes from service, but these cosmetic marks do not affect function or reliability.
A Rifle for Serious Shooters
If you value simplicity, reliability, and authentic military heritage over modern aesthetics, the PTR 91 GI deserves your consideration. It is a rifle that works.
