Important Installation Notes
For reliable operation, Magpul recommends:
- Gen 1-3 Glocks: Install a new OEM magazine release to handle the additional weight
- Gen 4 Glocks: Upgrade to an aftermarket metal magazine release
- All models: Installation of a new or enhanced recoil spring assembly is strongly recommended to ensure reliable feeding
Individual firearm variations may require an extra-power recoil spring for optimal performance.
Not Recommended For
Do not use this magazine in pistol caliber carbines (PCC). The extended feed tower length lacks proper support in most PCC magazine wells, which can cause premature wear and feeding failures.
