The MBUS 3 represents the next evolution in Magpul's legendary backup sight line, combining the best features of the original MBUS and MBUS Pro into a refined, feature-rich package. This front sight is engineered for shooters who demand reliability without unnecessary bulk.

Compact Design

Significantly reduced in size compared to its predecessors, the MBUS 3 Front Sight measures just 0.44 inches high when folded and 1.15 inches at its widest point. Despite its diminutive profile, it weighs only 25 grams with hardware—making it an ideal choice for shooters building lightweight AR-platform rifles.

Deployment & Adjustment

• Spring-loaded ambidextrous push-button deployment for rapid sight acquisition
• Tool-less elevation adjustment allows field zeroing without additional equipment
• Dual-width enhanced front post similar to the MBUS Pro for improved sight picture
• Sits at standard AR-height when deployed
• Adjustment rates: 1 MOA per click (1.131"/100m) at 14.5" sight radius; 0.7 MOA per click (0.820"/100m) at 20" sight radius

Compatibility & Installation

Mounts directly to Picatinny rails on the receiver or railed fore-end. Important: The front sight must mount to a railed fore-end on the same plane as the receiver rail and cannot be mounted to railed gas blocks due to heat concerns. Not compatible with MOE Hand Guards.
