CVA Accura MR-X .45 Caliber Mountain Muzzleloader

CVA Accura MR-X Mountain Muzzleloader

The Accura MR-X represents CVA's answer to a fundamental hunting challenge: how do you build a muzzleloader that's light enough to carry all day in the mountains yet capable of delivering accurate shots at extended range?

Design Philosophy

The "MR" designation stands for Mountain Rifle, and every design choice reflects that mission. This is not a bench gun or a target rifle. This is a working hunter's tool built for real-world conditions.

Key Features

• 26-inch Bergara Barrel: Shorter than traditional muzzleloaders for easier handling in tight spaces—thickets, tree stands, and steep terrain—while maintaining the velocity needed for ethical hunting distances
• Nitride-Treated Stainless Steel: Superior corrosion resistance and durability in harsh mountain conditions
• Cerakote Sniper Grey Finish: Professional-grade coating on both barrel and receiver for protection and a clean, modern appearance
• Veil Alpine Stock: Lightweight composite stock with matching Cerakote finish; includes adjustable comb for proper sight picture
• Threaded Muzzle: 3/4x24 threads accommodate suppressors or other muzzle devices
• 209 Primer Ignition: Reliable, consistent ignition system
• Included Accessories: Comes with PalmSaver ramrod for comfortable loading and Quake CLAW sling for secure carry

The Practical Advantage

This rifle bridges the gap between traditional muzzleloader performance and modern hunting practicality. You get the simplicity and reliability of black powder hunting with a package that won't exhaust you on a steep climb or tangle in brush. The threaded barrel opens options for sound management or muzzle control.

Whether you're hunting in high country or navigating dense cover, the Accura MR-X delivers the balance serious mountain hunters demand.
