Breakthrough 20-Gauge Bore Mop
Keeping your shotgun barrel clean is fundamental to reliable performance and longevity. This bore mop from Breakthrough Clean delivers the simplicity and effectiveness that serious shooters demand.
Key Features
- 100% cotton construction — Soft material won't damage your bore while effectively removing fouling and residue
- Washable and reusable — Economy and practicality combined; simply wash and dry between shooting sessions
- Standard shotgun threading — #5/16-27 thread fits most 20-gauge cleaning rod systems
- Proven design — Cotton mops have been the standard for bore cleaning for generations
Why Cotton Works
Cotton's natural fibers are gentle on precision-rifled and smoothbore surfaces while providing excellent scrubbing action. Unlike synthetic materials, cotton absorbs and holds solvents effectively, allowing them to work on stubborn fouling.
Maintenance
After use, simply rinse the mop under warm water and allow it to air dry. A clean bore is the foundation of accuracy and reliability—this straightforward tool makes that job easier.
