Spyderco Counter Puppy Kitchen Knife
Spyderco introduces a genuinely novel approach to kitchen cutlery with the Counter Puppy series. This is not merely a gimmick—it is a thoughtfully engineered tool that combines function with distinctive character.
Design and Functionality
The Counter Puppy's injection-molded high-impact plastic handle is shaped like a stylized puppy standing upright. This clever design serves a practical purpose: the knife stands securely on your counter or tabletop, keeping the blade clean and accessible while adding visual interest to your kitchen workspace. The serrated edge excels at slicing bread, tomatoes, and other foods that require a sawing motion.
Blade Quality
7Cr17 Stainless Steel Construction: The blade is crafted from corrosion-resistant 7Cr17 stainless steel, a proven material that resists rust and staining while maintaining a serviceable edge.
Full-Flat Ground Edge: Spyderco employs full-flat grinding for superior edge geometry, resulting in a blade that cuts efficiently and maintains its edge through regular use.
