Savage A17 Target Thumbhole: Purpose-Built Precision
The Savage A17 Target Thumbhole represents the pinnacle of rimfire target rifle design. Chambered in 17 WSM, this semi-automatic rifle delivers the velocity and accuracy serious shooters demand.
Action and Reliability
Savage's proven delayed-blowback action cycles reliably with 17 WSM ammunition while maintaining the safety margins shooters expect. The hard chrome bolt resists corrosion and wear, while the case-hardened receiver provides durability for years of consistent performance.
Accuracy Features
Heavy Fluted Barrel: The 22-inch button-rifled barrel is fluted to reduce weight while maintaining rigidity. This design minimizes harmonic vibration and delivers the accuracy you need for target work.
AccuTrigger: Savage's user-adjustable trigger allows you to dial in the pull weight that works best for your shooting style. A crisp, predictable trigger break is essential for precision.
Thumbhole Stock: The gray laminate thumbhole stock provides a secure grip and enhanced control. Laminated wood resists warping and swelling, maintaining zero shot after shot.
