SOG F10N-CP Folding Saw with Sheath
SOG's compact folding saw features an 8.25" high carbon steel blade with differentially tempered teeth for efficient cutting of branches and small logs. At 17.25" overall length, it balances portability with cutting power. Includes black ballistic nylon sheath.
The Portable Cutting Solution
A quality saw is essential survival and outdoor equipment. The challenge lies in balancing cutting capability with portability—longer saws cut more efficiently, but become burdensome to carry. SOG's Folding Saw strikes that balance effectively.
Design and Construction
The saw features an 8.25-inch blade of hardened and tempered high carbon steel. The blade employs differential tempering of its teeth, a technique that keeps the cutting edge sharp while the body remains flexible enough to resist breaking under stress. This engineering approach extends blade life significantly, even when working hard woods.
The comfortable handle supports proper cutting technique, allowing you to maintain deep, true strokes with each pull. The black powder-coated finish resists corrosion, while the soft-grip handle ensures control in wet conditions.
