Cold Steel Urban Edge 2.5" Fixed Blade Neck Knife

Cold Steel Urban Edge: Compact Versatility in Your Pocket

The Urban Edge represents Cold Steel's philosophy of purposeful design meeting practical utility. This is a knife that does more than it appears capable of doing.

Design and Construction

Blade and Steel

• 2.5" AUS-8A stainless steel blade with plain edge
• Stone-washed finish resists corrosion and reduces glint
• Geometry optimized for slicing and general cutting tasks

Handle and Ergonomics

• Kraton handle material provides secure, non-slip grip even when wet
• Design allows you to open your hand while maintaining full control
• Overall length: 4"
• Weight: 1.9 oz—light enough for neck carry or keychain attachment

Practical Applications

Don't let the compact size fool you. The Urban Edge handles everyday utility tasks that would challenge larger knives: opening packages, food prep, cordage cutting, and general camp work. The secure grip and blade geometry make it surprisingly capable for a knife this size.

Carry and Deployment

Includes Cold Steel's Secure-Ex neck sheath for immediate access. The lightweight design makes it ideal as a backup blade, neck knife, or keychain tool. Always accessible when you need it.

A Last Resort

Beyond utility, the Urban Edge serves as a formidable last-resort self-defense tool. Its accessibility and secure grip make it a practical choice for personal protection.
