Streamlight TLR-8 G Sub Tactical Light with Green Laser

Streamlight TLR-8 G Sub: Compact Tactical Illumination for Concealed Carry

The Streamlight TLR-8 G Sub represents a thoughtful evolution in weapon-mounted lighting for modern defensive pistols. This compact unit combines practical illumination with integrated aiming capability in a package specifically engineered for subcompact frames.

Key Features

• 500-lumen white LED output with optimized beam pattern for both target illumination and peripheral awareness
• Green laser aiming system (5.0 mW, 510-530nm wavelength) for rapid target acquisition in low-light conditions
• Dual-switch operation with high and low power settings for tactical flexibility and battery conservation
• Safe-off feature prevents accidental activation, extending battery life during storage and carry
• Tool-free rail clamp system allows quick attachment and removal without muzzle-direction concerns
• Interchangeable paddle switches for customized control preferences
• Ultra-lightweight, compact design purpose-built for Sig P365 and P365 XL platforms
• 1.5-hour runtime from a single CR123A lithium battery

Practical Advantages

The narrow beam with optimized peripheral illumination provides the balance modern shooters need—enough light to identify threats without excessive wash-out. The integrated green laser offers a secondary aiming reference that's particularly valuable in dynamic situations where traditional sight pictures may be compromised.

Streamlight's engineering philosophy emphasizes reliability and user control. The high/low switch arrangement lets you preserve battery life during extended carry while maintaining full power when needed. The safe-off mechanism is a small detail that pays dividends over time.
