Rock River Arms Predator2L: Precision Meets Practicality
The Predator2L represents Rock River Arms' commitment to delivering a rifle that serves equally well on the range or in the field. Built on proven fundamentals, this .223 Wylde platform offers the accuracy and reliability serious shooters demand.
Barrel and Accuracy
The 16" bead blasted stainless steel barrel features a 1:8" twist rate optimized for a wide range of .223 ammunition. Threading accommodates suppressors and muzzle devices for shooters seeking to reduce noise or manage recoil. The free-floating design isolates the barrel from the handguard, a key factor in consistent accuracy.
Ergonomics and Control
Trigger System: The two-stage ultra match trigger breaks cleanly and predictably—essential for precision shooting.
Handling Features:
- Extended charging handle for reliable operation with gloved hands
- Star safety for positive control
- Winter trigger guard accommodates cold-weather shooting
- Hogue rubber grip provides secure purchase and reduces fatigue
Handguard and Modularity
The Frontier Edge carbon fiber free-float handguard runs the full length of the rifle with an integrated top rail for optics mounting. Carbon fiber construction keeps weight minimal while maintaining rigidity—a practical advantage whether you're carrying the rifle or shooting from a bench.
