The Great Lakes Firearms GL15223SSPCHY represents a thoughtfully engineered AR-15 pistol built on proven principles. This compact platform delivers the modularity and reliability of the AR system in a shorter, lighter package suitable for home defense, tactical training, or specialized applications.

Caliber and Barrel

Chamber: .223 Wylde — a versatile chamber that safely fires both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition, giving you flexibility at the range or in the field.

Barrel: 7.5" stainless steel with 1:8 twist rate and heavy profile construction. The barrel is threaded 1/2 x 28 for suppressor or muzzle device compatibility. A muzzle brake is included and designed for straightforward installation.

Receiver and Frame

Both upper and lower receivers are machined from 7075 aluminum billet, ensuring durability and precise tolerances. The aluminum frame material provides a strong foundation while keeping overall weight manageable at just 5 pounds.

Ergonomics and Controls

Handguard: 7.125" aluminum M-LOK system with full Picatinny rail for mounting optics, lights, or other accessories.

Grip: Mil-spec polymer grip provides a secure, comfortable purchase.
