The Spyderco Military represents a benchmark in lightweight, hard-use folder design. This is a knife built around a fundamental principle: the steel defines the tool.

Blade Performance

The Military's modified clip-point blade is forged from CPM S30V stainless steel, chosen specifically for its exceptional edge retention and rust resistance. A 14mm Spyderco Round Hole allows for rapid one-handed deployment and reliable operation even when wearing gloves. The blade is laser-cut and stonewashed, giving it both functional texture and visual character.

Thumb texturing above the Round Hole ensures positive contact with the blade's spine during cutting, providing confident control over the sharpened edge during demanding tasks.

Handle Design and Ergonomics

The handle scales are machined from Digital Camouflage G10, a material chosen for its durability and grip characteristics. The lock's liner is nested directly into the scale material, eliminating unnecessary bulk while maximizing lock strength and reliability.

Spacers between the scales create a full-length gap that exposes the knife's internal workings—allowing for inspection and cleaning without disassembly. The handle features a subtle flare at both the front (creating a finger choil) and the butt end, preventing the knife from shifting during sawing or aggressive cutting work.

Carry and Deployment

A contoured black metal clip is configured for right-hand tip-down carry, the preferred method for tactical and working professionals.

A Note on Finish

The digital camouflage pattern is applied individually to each knife. No two knives—and no two sides of the same knife—will be identical, making each Military a unique tool.
