Spyderco Lil' Native Wharncliffe: Precision in a Compact Package
Spyderco's Lil' Native Wharncliffe takes the proven compact design of the Lil' Native and pairs it with a distinctive wharncliffe-style blade that delivers both elegance and practical cutting performance.
Blade Design
The heart of this knife is its full-flat-ground CPM S30V stainless steel blade. The spine curves gracefully downward to meet a straight cutting edge, culminating in an exceptionally keen point. This geometry provides excellent slicing capability while maintaining the wharncliffe's characteristic profile—a blade shape favored by those who appreciate refined tool design.
Handle & Ergonomics
The ergonomic handle features:
- Nested stainless steel liners for strength and durability
- Peel-ply-textured G-10 scales that provide secure grip in all conditions
- High-strength Compression Lock mechanism for reliable blade retention
- Reversible deep-pocket wire clip for left or right-side tip-up carry
Why This Knife Works
The Lil' Native Wharncliffe excels as an everyday carry blade. Its compact size fits naturally in hand or pocket, while the wharncliffe profile delivers surprising cutting performance. CPM S30V steel resists corrosion and holds an edge through extended use—ideal for the shooter, hunter, or outdoor enthusiast who demands reliability without compromise.
