Ultra-slim Spyderco Ikuchi features a 3.26" CPM S30V blade with carbon fiber/G10 handle, Compression Lock, and reversible pocket clip for discreet carry.
The Spyderco Ikuchi represents a radical departure from conventional pocketknife design. Named after a mythical Japanese sea monster, this ultra-slim folder prioritizes both aesthetics and practical cutting performance.
Designed by Paul Alexander, the Ikuchi features an elegantly curved handle crafted with full, skeletonized stainless steel liners and a stunning carbon fiber/G-10 laminate scale combination. The open-backed profile in the closed position creates a distinctly modern silhouette while keeping the blade completely contained—except for a small textured section of the tang that serves as the flipper opener.
The heart of this knife is a satin-finished CPM S30V stainless steel blade, full-flat ground for exceptional edge geometry and cutting performance. The acute, scalpel-like point excels at detailed work and precision cutting tasks. The blade deploys via a smooth index or thumb stroke on the flipper tang and locks securely using Spyderco's proven Compression Lock mechanism.
The Ikuchi includes a low-profile, deep-pocket wire clip that is reversible for left or right-side tip-up carry. This design ensures discreet carry while keeping the knife instantly accessible when you need it.
A refined tool for the discerning user.
