Muzzy Shoot-Through Rod for Pro Reels
The Muzzy Shoot-Through Rod is a purpose-built accessory designed to enhance the performance and longevity of your bowfishing reel. This straightforward solution addresses one of the common wear points in spincast and bottle reels.
Key Features
- Reduces side torque on the reel's main shaft, extending overall reel life
- Allows line to flow freely from the spool without restriction
- Eliminates snag points — nothing for line to wrap around during retrieval
- Stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance and durability in wet environments
- Compatible with both spincast and bottle reels
Why It Matters
Bowfishing reels endure significant stress during use. The Muzzy Shoot-Through Rod distributes forces more evenly across the reel mechanism, reducing concentrated stress on the main shaft. This translates to fewer maintenance issues and a longer service life for your equipment.
The open design ensures your line moves smoothly and predictably, which is critical when you're lining up a shot or retrieving a fish. No tangled line means more time fishing and less time troubleshooting.
