The Zastava M70 represents serious rifle engineering at an accessible price point. This is a rifle built on proven principles, with construction methods that have proven themselves across decades and continents.
Barrel and Action
The foundation matters. This rifle features:
- Hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel for durability and corrosion resistance
- Forged barrel trunnions for strength where it counts
- 1.5mm bulged trunnion receiver for enhanced rigidity
- Properly heat-treated fire control and bolt carrier groups matched to specification

Design and Ergonomics
The underfolding stock design offers practical advantages: the rifle compacts for storage or transport, yet deploys quickly to full length for shooting.
