Rocky Mountain Trophy Wife Elk Call
Produces authentic cow and calf mews plus estrus sounds with a wider-open reed design. Plastic barrel construction delivers bright, nasally sweet tones that imitate natural elk vocalizations.
Rocky Mountain Trophy Wife Elk Call
This external elk call is purpose-built for hunters who understand that cow elk vocalizations are often more effective than bugling during the rut. The Trophy Wife delivers the full range of sounds that bring bulls to the hunter.
What It Does
Cow and Calf Sounds — The call produces authentic mews and contact calls that mimic natural herd communication. These softer vocalizations often work when aggressive bugling fails.
Estrus Sounds — The wider-open reed design allows you to produce the nasally sweet tones of a cow in estrus, including the estrus scream that triggers aggressive bull response.
Design Features
- Plastic barrel construction — Engineered to produce a brighter, more penetrating sound than traditional designs
- Wide-open reed — Responsive and easy to operate, even for hunters new to elk calling
- External call design — Handheld operation gives you complete control over volume and tone
Why It Works
Experienced elk hunters know that cows do most of the talking during the rut. A bull investigating a cow call is often more committed than one responding to bugling. The Trophy Wife gives you access to this proven hunting method with a call that's both effective and straightforward to use.
