CMMG's Dissent MK4 brings 6mm ARC long-range performance to the AR-15 platform. Features side-folding stock, adjustable gas block, and M-LOK handguard for versatile shooting.
The Ultimate Long-Range Carbine
The CMMG Dissent MK4 in 6mm ARC represents a thoughtful solution for shooters seeking the ballistic performance of larger cartridges without the weight and recoil penalty. This rifle delivers the flat-shooting characteristics and range capability traditionally associated with .243 Winchester or .308 Winchester, yet remains manageable and nimble in the field.
Design and Ergonomics
Built on the proven AR-15 manual of arms, the Dissent MK4 maintains the familiar controls and operation that experienced shooters expect. Key features include:
- Side-folding stock with adjustable length of pull and cheek riser for proper sight picture and comfort
- Forward non-reciprocating charging handle for manipulation without disturbing your sight picture
- M-LOK handguard with integrated top Picatinny rail for mounting optics, lights, and other accessories
Performance Features
The adjustable gas block sets this rifle apart. Whether you plan to shoot suppressed or simply want to tune the gas system to your specific ammunition, this feature gives you complete control. Dial in the perfect amount of gas for reliable cycling without excess recoil or wear.
Why 6mm ARC?
6mm ARC offers a compelling middle ground: superior ballistics and range performance compared to 5.56 NATO, yet lighter recoil and faster handling than traditional .308-based platforms. It's an excellent choice for precision shooting, hunting, and long-range work.
