Freedom Ordnance FX-9 9mm Pistol, 10" Barrel

Freedom Ordnance FX-9 Pistol: AR-15 Familiarity in Compact Form

The FX-9 represents a thoughtful approach to the modern pistol platform. Built on AR-15 ergonomics and controls, it offers immediate familiarity to shooters already versed in the rifle world.

Design and Construction

This pistol is machined from billet aluminum and steel components, with Type III hard-anodized receivers and full hard nitride steel throughout the barrel, bolt, ejector, and feed ramp. This construction ensures durability and corrosion resistance for years of reliable service.

Practical Advantages

Compact Profile: The upper and lower receivers are more than an inch shorter than a standard AR-15, resulting in a lighter, more maneuverable platform ideal for home defense, training, or recreational shooting.

AR-15 Compatibility: The FX-9 accepts standard AR-15 stocks, buffer tube assemblies, and most free-float rail systems, allowing customization with familiar components.

Magazine System: Uses standard, double-stack Glock-style 9mm magazines, providing excellent capacity and widespread availability.

This Configuration

This model features a 10" barrel with a 3" faux suppressor, M-LOK handguard for accessory mounting, SB Mini Brace for stabilization, and an A2-style grip. The 32-round magazine capacity provides substantial firepower for defensive or sport shooting applications.

The FX-9 bridges the gap between pistol and rifle, offering the control and ergonomics shooters expect from AR-platform firearms in a more compact package.
