Browning Citori 725 Field 28 Gauge
The Citori 725 Field represents Browning's commitment to building shotguns that balance tradition with modern engineering. This 28 gauge over/under delivers the refined handling characteristics that have made the Citori line legendary among upland hunters and clay shooters for generations.
Design and Construction
The receiver is notably lower in profile than earlier Citori designs, creating a gun that points naturally and feels balanced in your hands. Despite its refined appearance, the 725 maintains the rugged durability you expect from Browning:
- Full-width hinge pin extends completely across the receiver for maximum strength
- Tapered locking bolt engages a full-width tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs
- Satin nitride finish on the receiver resists corrosion while maintaining a refined appearance
- Grade II/III black walnut stock with gloss oil finish and Inflex recoil pad II
Practical Features
The 28" barrel chambered for 3" shells provides the versatility you need for various hunting and shooting situations. The Invector-DS choke system delivers consistent, reliable performance with minimal hassle. An ivory bead sight aids target acquisition, while the Fire Lite Mechanical trigger offers a lighter pull weight and superior feel compared to previous generations.
