Superior Materials and Construction

This barrel starts with 416-R stainless steel, a material chosen for its corrosion resistance and reliability. The bore features Faxon's 5R rifling pattern, a hybrid design with lands positioned opposite grooves. This geometry reduces jacket deformation, increases velocity, and makes cleaning significantly easier than traditional rifling.

Durability Built In

The barrel receives a salt bath nitride treatment inside and out, which hardens the bore and extends barrel life while protecting against the elements. The extension is coated in Nickel Teflon for dry lubricity and corrosion resistance, ensuring a tight, reliable fit with your receiver.

Precision Manufacturing

Each barrel is manufactured in-house and fully stress-relieved to eliminate internal tensions. Faxon air-gauges every barrel and applies an 11-degree target crown for superior accuracy. Individual headspace verification using precision PTG gauges ensures your barrel will function reliably in your rifle.
