Intelligent Design for Real-World Use
Streamlight engineered the Strion 2020 with two independently functioning switches: a head switch with integrated battery status indicator and a tail switch. Both offer complete control, allowing one-handed operation of momentary activation, constant-on, or strobe mode from either position. The intuitive three-position slide switch lets you select high, medium, or low output without cycling through unwanted modes—what Streamlight calls "set and forget it" functionality.

Machined from durable aircraft aluminum with a hard-anodized finish, the Strion 2020 is IPX7 waterproof and tested for impact resistance at 2 meters. The 3,450mAh lithium-ion battery fully recharges in 4.5 hours using the included compact snap-in charger with digital control circuitry that prevents overcharging. A battery status indicator shows green for full charge and red for low battery—no guesswork.
Practical Charging
The charger features an optional piggyback configuration (spare battery sold separately) so you can charge a backup while working with the primary light, minimizing downtime. The Strion 2020 works with existing Strion chargers, adding flexibility to your gear ecosystem.
