Galco Great Alaskan Chest Holster System
When you venture into remote country where a large-caliber handgun is your last line of defense, you need a holster system that keeps your firearm accessible and secure. The Great Alaskan delivers exactly that.
Design and Construction
This chest-mounted holster system positions your handgun in a comfortable crossdraw configuration across your torso. The holster itself is crafted from premium steerhide, fully lined with smooth leather for a secure yet gentle grip on your firearm. The harness system matches this quality, constructed from the same durable premium steerhide that withstands the rigors of wilderness use.
Comfort and Fit
The harness pivots at its attachment points, allowing the holster to move naturally with your body as you hike, climb, or navigate challenging terrain. The 2-inch shoulder width distributes weight effectively across your shoulders, preventing fatigue during long days afield. The system accommodates chests up to 54 inches, making it suitable for most shooters.
Ideal Applications
Designed specifically for hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking in bear country, the Great Alaskan keeps your handgun readily available when you need it most. The crossdraw position allows quick access while your hands remain free for other tasks.
