The Ruger American Predator Gen II represents a thoughtful evolution of a proven platform. This rifle is built for shooters who demand accuracy, reliability, and practical features without unnecessary complexity.

Barrel and Action

The heart of this rifle is its cold hammer-forged, medium-contour barrel featuring deep spiral flutes that reduce muzzle weight while maintaining stiffness and accuracy. The .22 ARC chambering delivers modern ballistic performance in a compact, efficient package. A factory-installed radial port muzzle brake helps manage recoil and muzzle rise.

The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel with Ruger's familiar three-lug design and a 70-degree throw, providing ample clearance for most optics. The oversized bolt handle ensures positive manipulation in all conditions.

Trigger and Safety

The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp, predictable release with user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds—allowing you to tune the rifle to your preference. The intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt while permitting the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.

Stock and Ergonomics

The green splatter-finished synthetic stock provides excellent grip without sharp edges. An installed spacer system allows length of pull adjustment from 13.75" down to 12", accommodating different shooters and shooting positions. The low comb improves sight alignment with magnified optics and can be removed for low-mounted sights.

A soft rubber recoil pad with a large radius heel promotes easy shouldering and features progressive collapse geometry to reduce felt recoil.

Accuracy Features

Ruger's patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver while free-floating the barrel for outstanding accuracy. A factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base is ready for your optics.

Finish and Durability

Professionally applied Cerakote coating on the barrel, muzzle brake, receiver, and bolt handle provides a durable, easy-to-maintain finish that resists corrosion and wear.
