The IC-9 represents a significant evolution in modern pistol design, bringing the proven engineering of LWRC's gas-piston rifle systems to the 9mm pistol category. This is a purpose-built platform, not a rifle converted to pistol configuration.

Construction and Durability

Built from advanced aluminum and steel alloys, the IC-9 receives multiple protective surface treatments:

• Hard-coat anodizing for corrosion resistance
• Ferritic nitrocarburization for enhanced wear resistance
• Nickel-boron coating on critical components

The MonoForge Upper Receiver is precision-forged, heat-treated, and struck multiple times to achieve superior dimensional accuracy and surface finish. This manufacturing process results in a receiver that is both lighter and stronger than standard pattern uppers.

Ergonomic Design

The IC-9 features fully ambidextrous controls, making it equally suitable for left and right-handed shooters. The integrated rail-base on the upper receiver provides a solid platform for optics and accessories without requiring additional mounting solutions.

Magazine Compatibility
