The Modern Personal Defense Weapon
The MCX Rattler LT represents a significant evolution in compact firearm design. Originally developed to meet U.S. Special Operations Command requirements for a Personal Defense Weapon, this platform delivers capabilities that surpass traditional designs in both form and function.
What Sets It Apart
Unlike conventional AR-pattern rifles, the MCX Rattler LT employs a short-stroke recoil gas piston system that eliminates the need for a buffer tube entirely. This fundamental design difference results in a genuinely compact platform—shorter and more maneuverable than any AR/M4 derivative.
