The Urban Defender's Choice
The CobraTec Kingpin represents thoughtful design for the modern everyday carry user. This blade was engineered specifically for urban environments where practicality and concealability matter as much as capability.
Blade Design & Performance
The 4-inch drop point blade strikes an ideal balance between cutting performance and carry-ability. Key features include:
- Wide drop point geometry provides excellent penetration and cutting ability
- Top swedge enhances the blade's effectiveness without compromising utility
- Slight blade cant improves biomechanics for both cutting and thrusting motions
- Jimped spine offers positive thumb support in forward grip positions
- D2 steel construction delivers edge retention and durability in a proven, maintainable steel
- Black powder coat resists corrosion and reduces glint
Handle & Ergonomics
The handle demonstrates equal attention to detail:
- G10 scales with random texture pattern maintain grip security even in wet conditions
- Unidirectional design performs equally well in forward and reverse grip positions
- Aggressive end cap serves dual purposes: facilitates fast deployment from the kydex sheath and provides a thumb rest with jimping for reverse grip use
- Blaze orange finish ensures visibility and quick identification
The Kingpin is a knife that understands its purpose—reliable, concealable, and ready for whatever the day demands.
