DoubleTap's 45 Colt +P ammunition represents the pinnacle of handloaded precision for hunters and shooters who demand uncompromising performance. Each round features a 335-grain hard cast solid bullet engineered for deep, reliable penetration on large game.
Critical Safety Information
These are +P (overpressure) loads and are NOT standard pressure cartridges. They are safe only in the following firearms:
- Ruger revolvers (all models)
- Thompson Center Contender
- Colt Anaconda
- BFR revolvers
- Freedom Arms firearms
- Winchester Model 1894 lever-action rifles
- Marlin Model 1894 lever-action rifles
- All modern Model 1892 lever-action rifles
DO NOT use these cartridges in any other firearm. Standard pressure revolvers and lever guns will not safely handle the increased pressure of +P loads.
Ballistic Excellence
The hard cast solid construction delivers exceptional penetration for hunting applications where deep, straight-line performance is essential. This ammunition is ideal for hunters pursuing large game at moderate ranges who require a cartridge that performs reliably in appropriate firearms.
